About Centacare
Centacare, an agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, employs approximately 2,600 people across Queensland, delivering essential, high-quality services in aged care, family and community support, homelessness, and mental health.

About the Role
This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the Director's office, with responsibilities spanning daily workflow management, stakeholder communication, and coordinated project support.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to the Director, including diary management, meeting preparation, travel coordination, and correspondence.
Anticipate needs, manage priorities and deadlines, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
Oversee the daily operations of the Director's office, maintaining efficient systems for filing and document management.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinating communications and responding on behalf of the Director.
Plan, organise, and support meetings, workshops, and events, including tracking action items and ensuring timely follow-up.
Assist with project administration, research, report preparation, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Identify and implement improvements to office systems and workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant.
Strong organisational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional discretion in handling confidential information.
Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
