Personal Care Worker
Bene St Paul's - Hahndorf - Casual/Part-Time
Bene Aged Care is currently seeking compassionate and committed Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our team on a casual/part-time basis at our St Pauls facility in Hahndorf. About the Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you will play an essential role in supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social wellbeing, while upholding their dignity, choice, and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting residents with daily personal care needs including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
* Providing emotional and social support aligned with individual care plans
* Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health or behaviour to nursing staff
* Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Supporting residents' independence, dignity, privacy, and rights
* Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Adhering to infection control, WHS, and organisational policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
* Previous experience in residential aged care
* Genuine interest in delivering high-quality, person-centred care
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to respectful, compassionate service
* Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
