Kumo Brewhouse is seeking a dedicated and experienced barista who has a genuine passion for specialty coffee and hospitality to join our team for our upcoming new cafe.
Your day-to-day:
Prepare espresso, filter, and specialty beverages with skill and precision.
Maintain equipment, calibrations, and cleanliness to professional standards.
Engage warmly with guests, providing genuine and attentive service.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume or specialty coffee venue.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with specialty coffee
Deep knowledge of coffee — from extraction and milk texturing to bean profiles and brew ratios.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a small team.
Pride in presentation, efficiency, and customer experience.
The ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Knowledge of food safety regulations
