* Support data quality, enforce privacy standards, facilitate accessibility, monitoring data usage and aligning it with business objectives
* Mitigate risks and maximise data value, supporting strategic goals and stakeholder trust.
* Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
* Ensure compliance with data management standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues.
* Monitor and maintain data integrity across systems and processes.
* Provide support and guidance on data governance best practices.
Profile
A Successful Data Governance Analyst Should Have
* Understanding of AI governance (desirable).
* Experience with Alation or Purview (highly desirable).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience collaborating with diverse teams to address data challenges.
