The Data Scientist at Resilinc is a pivotal role that will contribute to the development of our AI – powered SaaS products. The ideal candidate is not only adept at developing scalable, innovative algorithms using machine learning techniques but also brings a strong analytical mindset to tackle complex challenges. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and innovative thinking to leverage data effectively for strategic decision-making.
What You Will Do
1. Conduct literature reviews, select and adapt suitable methods/algorithms for specific problems, and innovate as necessary - encompassing research, design, development, and algorithm testing.
2. A hands-on contributor for developing AI-powered SaaS products.
3. Contribute to projects and help drive them through to completion thoroughly and efficiently, in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate proactively with stakeholders across the company.
5. Articulate and present analytical findings and progress to cross-functional teams within Resilinc.
What You Will Bring
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Operations Research, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline.
2. 1+ years of paid industry experience contributing to the development of SaaS products.
3. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and a solid grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and development methodologies.
4. Demonstrated experience in the development of complex algorithms.
5. A comprehensive understanding of various Machine Learning techniques including but not limited to Linear & Non-linear models, Tree-based algorithms, Neural Networks, Classification, Clustering, Regression, Feature Engineering, Feature Selection, PCA, SVD, k-NN etc.
What Will Make You Stand Out
* Background in the Supply Chain industry.
* Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks, especially Apache Spark.
* Experience in developing Generative AI models in secure, isolated environments.
* Knowledge of graph theory, graph algorithms, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), and experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
* Experience applying NLP techniques to challenges such as data normalization and other complex text-related problems.
* Proven experience with Python-based web application frameworks such as Flask, Django, Streamlit, or similar technologies.
* Hands-on experience with Linux-based environments, including shell scripting, process management, and optimizing system performance for large-scale data science workloads.
* Demonstrable experience managing the full lifecycle of machine learning models, including deployment and monitoring on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
