We are currently seeking an experienced Private Wealth Adviser to join our Mackay office.
The successful candidate will be an appropriately qualified individual who has a demonstrated track record of providing personal financial advice to a wide range of clients, including individuals, families, companies, and superannuation funds. You must have expertise in all facets of direct investment and managed funds, retirement and estate planning, risk minimisation and wealth creation.
Partnering with and working alongside a dedicated team of professionals you will have access to leading research, analysis, technology and investment products.
Whilst Mackay is a relatively small office, it is supported by a national presence with offices in all Australian capital cities as well as many regional centres. Our Brisbane and Sydney offices provide administrative and technical support, including paraplanning from our Strategic Advice team.
This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work with a successful adviser to transition their clients in advance of an impending retirement.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
* Provide direct investment advice in a professional, confident, and ethical manner
* Provide strategic advice to clients
* Supervise and ensure all facets of client implementation are completed
* Regularly monitor client financial situations and maintain regular contact
* Increase the knowledge base of clients by sharing ideas and strategies through relationship management and informal education
* Keep up to date with company announcements, market movements, legislative requirements, product offerings, compliance standards and industry trends.
* Build an activity pipeline using existing relationships and referrals
* Grow your business by participating in client presentations, client lunches or seminars
* Creation and maintenance of comprehensive client files
About You
* Compliance with FASEA requirements
* Track record in advising retail and sophisticated clients
* Excellent client rapport and relationship management enabling you to recommend suitable portfolio strategies
* Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Have a clear strategy for sustainable growth of a client base and have established referral networks
