About Us
At Pure Coaching, we do things differently.
We’re not a standard support service. We’re active, hands-on, and focused on helping participants build independence, confidence, and real-life capability.
We call ourselves coaches because we work alongside participants as equals, supporting them through action, structure, and consistent mentoring.
About the Role
You’ll support NDIS participants (mostly teens and young adults) with higher support needs through consistent community-based mentoring, structured support, and relationship-driven work.
Activities and fitness are part of the role, but the core focus is stability, guidance, and being a reliable presence in participants’ lives. The role requires maturity, strong communication, and the ability to operate independently.
Key Responsibilities

Build trust, rapport, and supportive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
Support clients in daily community engagement including appointments, routines, social exposure, and skill building
Provide mentoring and consistent presence for participants who require higher levels of behavioural, emotional, or functional support
Use fitness, outdoor activities, and interests as tools for engagement where appropriate
Assist with developing life skills such as shopping, cooking, money management, and household tasks
Encourage independence, confidence, and decision-making through positive coaching and role modelling
Maintain calm and professional support during challenging situations
Keep clear, accurate progress notes in Shift Care and communicate effectively with the team
Safely transport clients to and from activities, ensuring their wellbeing at all times
