Desktop Support Specialist

This role will provide onsite and remote assistance to end users within the organization's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

* Provide technical support for Windows 10 or 11, Intune cloud, and thick build machines.
* Troubleshoot general performance issues and find root causes for hardware problems such as monitors, mice, headsets, phones, and laptops.
* Support Microsoft Teams issues, including video and audio performance.
* Collaborate with app owners to resolve issues and improve user experience.
* Manage office licenses and troubleshoot related issues.
* Keep up with software updates and release information for MS Office and security patches.

The ideal candidate should have:

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Apple OS, SCCM.

Additionally, the successful candidate should hold:
">
* At least two of the following certifications: PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, Comptia A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the Desktop area, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification.
