Join our organization to make a meaningful impact in the lives of First Nations children and families. We are seeking a dedicated Support Practitioner – Identified to join our Children, Youth & Families team in Caboolture & Arana Hills.

This role is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of a team that delivers culturally safe, inclusive, and empowering services to First Nations communities. You will have the chance to provide case management and tailored support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a degree qualification in social work, psychology, social science or a related discipline, or equivalent level of expertise. You should also have applied knowledge and understanding of child protection and out-of-home care frameworks, including knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, the Child Protection Act 1999.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with diverse communities. They should also have experience in child protection, community services, or supporting vulnerable children and families.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide case management and tailored support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.
* Build strong community partnerships with agencies, carers, and families to create sustainable support networks.
* Deliver culturally inclusive programs that promote healing, resilience, and well-being.


Requirements:

* Degree qualification in social work, psychology, social science or a related discipline, or equivalent level of expertise.
* Applied knowledge and understanding of child protection and out-of-home care frameworks.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with diverse communities.
* Experience in child protection, community services, or supporting vulnerable children and families.
