About the Position
You will report directly to the Hotel Services Manager and be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service across the hospital. This varied role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to patients' daily experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring all food handling, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained at all times.
* Supporting the broader team with general cleaning and service duties across hospital areas.
* Managing stock levels and maintaining organized workspaces.
* Upholding infection control and hygiene standards throughout the hospital.
* Working collaboratively with your team while managing your own workload effectively.
This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility across a 7-day rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
Requirements
* Previous experience in catering or housekeeping is desirable but not essential.
* An understanding of food safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures is required.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach are necessary.
* A Certificate II or III in Hospitality is desirable.
