We are seeking a passionate and skilledWoodfire Pizza Chefto join our team.
The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience with traditional woodfire ovens, dough preparation, and hand-stretching techniques.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality pizzas with consistency, speed, and flair.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and manage a traditional woodfire oven with confidence and efficiency.
Prepare fresh dough daily, including mixing, proofing, portioning, and hand-stretching.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Monitor and control cooking times/temperatures to ensure perfect pizzas every time.
Manage stock levels, ingredients, and mise en place for pizza service.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in compliance with food safety standards.
Work closely with the kitchen team and FOH staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' proven experience as a Pizza Chef in a woodfire kitchen.
Strong knowledge and skill in dough-making and hand-stretching techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
Availability to workfull-time evening shifts and weekends.
Preferred Qualities
Creativity in developing pizza specials and new menu items.
Passion for authentic Italian cooking methods and flavours.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Availability
Full-time and Part-time role availablewith evening shifts required (including weekends).
