About the role

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the energy sector? AGL Energy is seeking a Credit Specialist to join our Credit & Affordability team within Customer Market Operations. This full-time opportunity is open to candidates based in Melbourne or Adelaide, offering a dynamic and supportive environment where innovation and customer focus drive everything we do.

As a Credit Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in driving debt reduction outcomes and improving customer experience through strategic initiatives and campaign delivery. You'll work within a high-performing team that values experimentation, process improvement, data-driven decision-making and process governance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute credit initiatives using AGL's structured CICO delivery model.

Conduct current and future state assessments, risk analysis, and solution development.

Build business cases and track benefits post-delivery.

Deliver uplift in collections outcomes via campaign execution.

Provide expert advice on process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Monitor performance and quality across internal and external delivery partners.

Development of documentation and governance controls on initiatives

Support capability growth within the Collections Optimisation team.

What You'll Bring

Experience in credit analytics and insight-driven program delivery.

Experience in delivering structured process improvements

Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end initiatives.

Risk analysis and decision-making expertise.
