We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager – Bathrooms to lead our showroom team and ensure customers receive exceptional service, inspirational design advice, and access to high-quality products.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with a passion for retail operations, customer engagement, and team development.
As Store Manager, you will oversee all showroom functions—driving productivity, coaching staff, managing stock and merchandising, and achieving performance targets across sales, margin, and customer service.
You will be responsible for ensuring the showroom operates smoothly, professionally, and profitably, while fostering a positive culture where staff can truly excel.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales Leadership
Ensure customers receive inspirational design guidance, quality products, and a seamless service experience.
Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
Lead by example by building your own client relationships and consistently delivering superior service and sales outcomes.
Mentor and support the team to finalise quotes, close sales, and understand margin and profitability requirements.
Team Leadership & Development
Attract, lead, and retain high-performing talent.
Train team members in company processes, procedures, and best-practice service standards.
Evaluate team workloads to maximise productivity and ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide regular performance reporting and coaching, enabling staff to grow and succeed.
Showroom Operations & Administration
Manage showroom reporting including quotes, sales results, margins, accounts receivable, and compliance documentation.
Oversee merchandising, showroom presentation, product accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure full security and care of all showroom merchandise, reducing theft and damage.
Partner with internal departments on hiring, training, promotions, trade nights, showroom updates, and inventory management.
Product, Pricing & Inventory Management
Support the Group Manager with product selection and purchasing decisions.
Maintain optimal stock levels in line with customer demand and quality expectations.
Adhere to preferred supplier guidelines and competitive buying policies.
Assist with supplier negotiations and monitor competitor pricing to keep the showroom competitive.
About You
7–10 years' experience in a relevant retail, design, or showroom management environment.
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team.
Strong administration, organisational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Excellent customer service presentation and a polished, professional demeanour.
A positive "can-do" attitude and a commitment to delivering excellence.
