You will work as a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services at Morisset Hospital. The role involves assessing, diagnosing and treating complex forensic and rehabilitation patients within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct psychological assessments, diagnosis and treatment
* Develop comprehensive formulations and deliver recovery‐focused interventions
* Complete cognitive and psychopathy assessments, including report writing and recommendations
* Work closely within a multidisciplinary team environment
* Support positive outcomes for consumers, families and carers
Qualifications and Experience
* Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate forensic or clinical psychology qualification of no less than two years full‐time duration or recognised equivalent.
* Generally registered as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, endorsed in forensic or clinical psychology.
* Experience working with forensic and/or long‐term rehabilitation populations in a hospital setting.
* Confidence and experience in multidisciplinary team environments.
* Insight into forensic presentations and enduring mental health conditions.
* Strong commitment to recovery‐oriented, person‐centred care.
