Asgard Operations forms part of the Platforms Service and Operations business within BT Financial Group (BTFG) which is part of the Westpac Group. The broader BTFG Operations teams comprise of employees across sites located in Sydney, Perth and Adelaide. **How will I help?**
Reporting into the Head of Operations (Asgard), we have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Manager to support BT's Group's Customer Service, Platforms + Service Operations Division **! **This role will see you manage Learning and Development (L&D;) opportunities across the Asgard business. You will influence the learning agenda, strengthen knowledge and capability across teams and drive learning opportunities for our colleagues. This role leads a diverse workgroup focused on delivering and embedding learning solutions, functional projects, frameworks and leadership capability for individuals, and teams across Asgard, in a centralised manner.
As a specialist in adult learning in the workplace, you will lead, create and deliver an L&D; strategy outlining how Asgard Operations can deliver enduring programs in the disciplines of induction, foundational knowledge, capability uplift, knowledge transfer, career pathways, talent mapping, succession planning and personal development for our workforce. This role has a strong relationship management focus with internal stakeholders across a number of disciplines, it requires the translation and interpretation of technical concepts into easy-to-understand messages that create an engaged and aligned workforce.
You will also:
- Articulate and drive your vision for a learning and development within the workplace.
- Deliver transformational, fit for purpose learning modules that identify emerging trends, increase performance and efficiency whilst meeting operational excellence.
- Deliver programs that strategically impact the success of the Asgard Operations team.
- Showcase how on-the-job learning can directly increase performance, engagement, and employee well-being.

**What do I need?**
You will also have the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar learning & development role within the financial services or wealth management industries
- Proven ability in conducting training needs analyses to identify capability requirements and knowledge gaps.
- Experience working with technology, including e-learning platforms.
- Experience in the design, development and implementation of blended learning programs with expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Highly developed stakeholder and relationship management skills, with proven ability to collaborate and create partnerships to influence positive learning outcomes.
- Strong influencing, relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and a desire to make an impact.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development interventions across a range of disciplines.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to influence and engage across all levels of the business.
