We’re on the hunt for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Property Manager to join our growing team at RE/MAX Extreme Currambine. If you have a passion for property management, an eye for detail, and a knack for keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!
What’s the gig?
As a Junior Property Manager, you’ll play a vital role in managing our residential property portfolio while keeping our landlords and tenants happy. No two days are the same, so if you love variety and problem-solving (without the after-hours stress), this is the perfect role for you!
What you’ll be doing (aka your superpowers)
1. Building great relationships with landlords and tenants (because happy clients = happy life!)
2. Marketing and leasing properties to attract top-notch tenants
3. Handling bond inspections, bond disposals, and insurance claims like a pro
4. Coordinating maintenance and repairs – no DIY required, just great communication!
5. Keeping rents competitive and leases up to date
6. Resolving tenant disputes with diplomacy and a smile
7. Ensuring rent is paid on time (because no one likes chasing payments)
8. Working with our awesome offshore and in-office assistants to streamline admin tasks
Things you WON’T have to worry about
1. Trust Accounting – We’ve got a dedicated Trust Accountant to handle that
2. Business Development – Our BDM brings in the new clients, but if you enjoy it, we offer incentives!
3. After-Hours Calls – Go home and relax! Our Head of Department handles emergencies
4. Routine Inspections – Outsourced and in-office assistants take care of this (except breaches & bond meetings)
5. Excessive Admin Work – Our offshore team has your back
What we’re looking for
1. Experience in residential property management (Perth market preferred)
2. A people-person with excellent communication skills
3. Super organised with great time management (multitasking is your jam!)
4. Familiarity with Property Me & Inspect Real Estate (bonus points, but not essential)
5. Knowledge of tenancy laws & regulations
6. Problem-solving pro who can think on their feet
7. A team player who enjoys a laugh and a good office vibe
Non-Negotiables (aka must-haves)
1. Current Property Management Registration
2. A valid driver’s license (clean record)
