Our opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Group Manager, Construction Platforms to join our Sydney team.
In this role you will be managing a mix of digital and business-managed applications, with a strong emphasis on effective business engagement and driving outcomes. Acting as the key link between the business, specialist vendor partners, and digital teams, you will create enterprise value through effective management of platform systems and data.
Leading a small team across various value streams, you will ensure Mirvac's platform is accessible, reliable, reusable, secure, and modern, thereby enhancing products and outcomes and ensuring operational efficiency and excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Establish and Embed Ways of Working: Work with peers to clearly define roles and responsibilities across Development & Construction, Mirvac's Centre of Excellence, and Digital teams, considering the specialist and enterprise requirements of each solution.
* Champion Platform Vision: Communicate and advocate for the platform's vision, emphasizing its role in enhancing stakeholder experience, operational efficiency, and growth.
* Develop and Manage Vendor Partnerships: Foster collaboration and innovation across the Construction Platform, through cultivating and managing relationships with platform-related vendors and external partners to enhance scalability, cost efficiency, and benefits optimisation.
* Lead the Construction Platform: Lead and manage all aspects of Digital managed applications and relevant end-to-end processes, ensuring seamless operation, continuous improvement, and compliance. Implement effective controls for business-owned applications to ensure compliance with Mirvac's Cybersecurity, regulatory and moral obligations.
* Monitor Technology Trends: Stay informed about technology trends, solutions, and capabilities to ensure the platform supports current and future business needs. Provide thought leadership on data and process synergies across the platform and leverage modern technology for business value.
Your point of difference
You will bring a wealth of experience gained in digital roles focused on enterprise level platforms. Experience with Construction Operating systems with a strong focus on Cost Management is highly desirable. Knowledge of RIB software is desirable.
You will be a confident people leader, with experience developing teams as well as having a proven track record in effective stakeholder management and engagement up to executive level.
Proven understanding of control and governance requirements needed to ensure integrity of Enterprise platforms.
