Job Description

Our practice is growing, and we are seeking a Manager with strong financial and commercial acumen, comfortable across multiple sectors, and ready to work collaboratively as part of a high performing team.

In this role you will

* Support delivery of commercial and financial advisory engagements across a diverse range of sectors
* Contribute to the development of comprehensive financial modelling and analysis
* Support development of procurement and contracting strategies and commercial frameworks as part of the investment and business case and through the procurement process
* Manage and develop relevant aspects of business and investment cases to support major investment and transaction decisions
* Work with our leadership to grow the practice - contributing to business development, proposals, client relationships, thought leadership and market positioning
* Manage and mentor junior team members, drive high standards of delivery, and build capability within the team
* Communicate clearly and persuasively with senior stakeholders - including government clients, C-suite and board members, project and cross-functional multi disciplined teams

Qualifications

You bring a combination of:

* Interest in infrastructure and related sectors (e.g., transport, energy, social infrastructure, Defence and national security, water etc.).
* Excellent financial analysis and modelling capabilities with strong commercial acumen, which may include exposure to commercial contracts, procurement frameworks, different funding and financing models, investment related decision processes and / or transaction processes.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex narratives clearly and comfort presenting to and engaging client stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables, work autonomously yet collaboratively, manage competing priorities and deliver to high standards.
* Business development mindset: capable of contributing to proposals, identifying new opportunities, building and nurturing positive client relationships.
* Interest in and capability to mentor and develop more junior staff.
* Minimum five years' relevant experience in a commercial or financial advisory roles (or equivalent) in infrastructure or related industries in the public, private or not-for-profit sector.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, law, economics, engineering or other similar disciplines.
