About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontract Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Osborne.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement lifecycle management Procurement and Subcontract Management Plans to drive business growth.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage commodities and subcontracts, ensuring seamless project execution.
* Maintain strong supplier relationships through regular engagement and effective escalation of performance concerns and risks.
* Oversee project supplier metrics performance to achieve contract requirements.
* Present and engage with program management teams, IPTs, and other functional areas regarding subcontract/supplier approvals and performance issues.
* Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to facilitate timely decision-making.
* Lead bids and tenders processes, ensuring robust requirement definition and supplier contractual terms align with customer needs.
* Negotiate supplier agreements in accordance with set Delegations of Authority.
* Proactively manage supplier performance to meet schedule, cost, and quality requirements, developing relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
What We're Looking For
We require individuals with tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce/law or relevant fields. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) is highly regarded. Applicants should possess excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver on commitments.
