Senior Health Education Officer
Western Sydney Drug Health NSP Services, Greater Western Sydney
Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per week
Salary: $118,740 – $128,268 per annum

What you'll be doing
* Coordinate the delivery and administration of NSP services across WSLHD.
* Provide accessible, professional, and anonymous harm reduction services.
* Lead health promotion initiatives aligned with NSW Health strategies.
* Supervise, mentor, and support staff through career development activities.
* Build strong partnerships with health professionals, organisations, and stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
* Tertiary Qualification in Health, Community Services or equivalent.
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated competencies and experience in a managerial role.
* Ability to undertake policy analysis, development and implementation.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, manage and evaluate sensitive health promotion strategies within the NSP program for priority populations.
* Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health or related field.
* An understanding of Harm Minimisation.
* Knowledge of blood borne viruses such as HIV, HCV and HBV.
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to different WSLHD sites or external facilities as required.
* Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
