Job Description - Executive Assistant, Adelaide Economic Development Agency (2500406)Executive Assistant, Adelaide Economic Development Agency - ( 2500406 )Play a key role directly supporting the General Manager, AEDAA workplace of positive people and ideas | $94,283 + 11.5% superFull Time, fixed term parental leave cover until August 2026.About the OpportunityAs the Executive Assistant, AEDA, you’ll play a critical role in providing high-level executive and administrative support to the General Manager of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA). This role requires forward-thinking, ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, strong attention to detail, an ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and ensure seamless operations within the General Manager’s office. From diary and email management to preparing briefings, presentations, and travel itineraries, you’ll be trusted to ensure the General Manager is well-informed and fully prepared for engagements.You’ll also take the lead in managing administrative systems and support activities across AEDA, collaborating closely with the Administration Coordinator to uphold Council requirements and legislative compliance. Your scope will include preparing governance reports, coordinating AEDA Board agendas, monitoring corporate correspondence and KPIs, and supporting the coordination of strategic documents like the Annual Business Plan and Budget.In addition to providing a high standard of internal and external customer service, you’ll represent AEDA across committees and projects, maintain key registers in line with policy requirements, and liaise with the City of Adelaide Governance Team.
