**Description**:
THE ROLE
Our head office is based in QLD so the ability to work independently is critical, by managing your own time and responsibilities. You will spend most of your time with your customers interacting face to face. You will be immersed in the automotive aftermarket dealing with a highly supportive, select group of customers in a business-to-business environment. You will be adding value to their business by providing access to, back up of and support for a specialised range of world class automotive products.
**The role includes, but is not limited to**:
Managing CRM software tools to effectively track your activities.
Manage contact information for prospects and existing customers.
Tracking and reporting on results.
Maintaining a regular contact schedule with customers.
Identifying more leads or resolve any problems that arise in existing customer accounts.
Regularly travelling within VIC + TAS.
**Skills and Experiences**:
ABOUT YOU
**You will**:
Hold a valid Australian Drivers License
Have experience working within the automotive aftermarket industry, ie Burson, Repco, Autobarn, Super Cheap Auto (formal qualifications as a mechanic or equivalent would be an advantage).
Be able to demonstrate a basic aptitude for software to maintain account information, pull reports and manage sales productivity.
Love a challenge and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to create good business relationships
Demonstrate strong presentation and negotiation skills
Be a self-starter
Possess a friendly and confident demeanour, with a "can do" attitude
Can multi-task, whilst maintaining high attention to detail
Be able to work as part of a team
