THE ROLE
Working in a fast moving environment, you will be responsible for the operation of our extruders.
A typical shift might involve: Die changes and programming, quality reviews of extruded products, troubleshooting extruders and packaging of finished extruded products OR Managing the molders OR Managing the recycling line - we will train you on all these activities.
Training is provided and evaluated against a skills matrix providing the opportunity to earn more as your skill set expands with quarterly pay/performance reviews. You will also earn attractive shift loadings for afternoon (15%) and night shift work (20%).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the operation of designated machines involving:
* Interpreting job sheets and make sure sufficient material is available and ready to be loaded into the machines
* Identifying and/or troubleshooting machine or QC issues
* Maximising production efficiencies
* Interpreting production documentation and making adjustments to ensure correct quantities and lengths are manufactured
* Loading/Unloading of trucks as required
ABOUT YOU
* Demonstrated experience in successfully following documented procedures
* High focus on quality and productivity
* Be able to work autonomously or as a valued team member.
* Have sound knowledge of Manual Handling Practices
* Good communication and problem solving skills
* Curious and willing to learn.
