We are currently seeking a Project Controls Manager, reporting directly to the ERP & Business Support Manager to join our team based in Perth, Western Australia on a permanent basis.

About The Role
As Project Controls Manager, your role will be crucial in assisting the Project Manager in the overall control of an exciting and challenging energy project. Specifically, you will be in charge of supervising cost engineering, planning, scheduling, contracts, procurement, documentation, progress monitoring, risk management and reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensure all project activities within the Project Control disciplines are executed in alignment with the Business Management System (BMS)
* Allocate the project cost budget to relevant disciplines based on the Project Execution plan and strategy, and monitor actual and forecasted expenditures
* Update the Project Manager with a short and medium-term view of the project's status, trends and risks while recommending preventive or corrective actions
* Work with project controls and contract departments to establish and implement control teams, procedures and tools ensuring effective supervision of planning, scheduling and reporting throughout the project
* Oversee critical tasks such as Quantities Monitoring, Earned Value Analysis, Risk and Delay Claims Management, Forensic Schedule Analysis and Change/Variation Order Management
* At project completion, prepare feedback report and lessons learned to contribute to the project database and improve future project execution

* Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field
* Strong team leadership and management skills
* 10+ years experience within project controls
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* An understanding of the basic business principles for the O&G Industry
* Knowledge in Law and relevant contract standards applicable within the Oil & Gas Industry
* In-depth knowledge and experience in Commercial Management processes and principles
