As an Occupational Health Nurse sitting within our Health Assessments team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality pre-employment medical assessments, ensuring candidates are safe and fit for their roles. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement by supporting quality assurance and system enhancements, making a real impact on how we keep workplaces healthy and safe.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct pre-employment medical assessments
* Perform health screenings such as spirometry, audiometry, vision, and manual handling
* Provide accurate reporting and recommendations in line with organisational standards
* Support quality checks to ensure compliance and consistency in assessment delivery
* Assist with process improvements and contribute to a culture of best practice
* Collaborate with the Pre Emps team to deliver a seamless candidate experience
About You
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
* Experience in occupational health, pre-employment assessments, or primary care
* Competent in health screenings including audiometry, spirometry, vision, drug testing, and vitals
* Strong clinical documentation, compliance, and quality focus
* Clear, compassionate communicator with a people-first approach
* Confident working independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* Comfortable using clinical systems and keen to improve processes
* You give and invite feedback, raise concerns early, and challenge ideas respectfully, holding yourself and others to account so we keep improving
* Available to work Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in our South Melbourne Office
