Job Description Your New Role Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in shaping the commercial and financial performance of a diverse portfolio of development projects. This role isn’t just about reporting – it is about strategic influence, commercial insight, and partnering with development teams to unlock value and deliver impact. You will need to think independently, challenge assumptions, and communicate with clarity. Core Accountabilities: Act as a trusted commercial advisor to project teams and senior leaders Lead the development of project feasibility models and business cases to inform strategic decisions Provide clear, commercially focused advice on procurement, pricing, and risk mitigation strategies Drive effective budgeting, forecasting and planning across both corporate and project levels Present financial insights and recommendations to the Investment Committee and executive stakeholders Maintain a pulse on market conditions and contribute to pricing and timing strategies Proactively manage commercial and financial risks to support long-term project success Foster continuous improvement across commercial and finance practices If you are a seasoned Commercial Manager ready to make a significant impact within the Victorian community by combining your financial expertise with strategic influence and partnership skills, we invite you to apply. Desired Skills and Experience About You We are looking for someone with strong commercial instincts, a sharp financial lens, and the confidence to advocate for sound decisions. You will be self-directed and solution-focused, capable of owning your work while collaborating across multiple functions. Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline CA or CPA qualified Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial, finance, or business partnering role within a project-driven environment Strong property development, infrastructure or construction sector experience Proven ability to develop and present financial models, feasibility studies and business cases Confident stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence and advise at all levels Advanced Excel and EstateMaster skills; experience with TechOne, Tableau preferred Strong communication skills and ability to present complex financial insights in simple, strategic terms If you’re a commercially driven property expert ready to take ownership, challenge ideas, and contribute to something bigger – we would love to hear from you.
