For AO26, we’re looking for Waste Management Team Members to play a crucial role in keeping Melbourne Park clean, safe, and sustainable.
This is a hands-on role, perfect for those who aren’t afraid of hard work and want to be part of the action at one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
The Role
Collect and remove rubbish, recycling, and organics across event spaces
Handle waste bins, compaction equipment, and assist with site cleanliness
Ensure correct waste separation and disposal, supporting AO’s sustainability goals
Complete repetitive, physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and walking across large sites
Work closely with logistics and back-of-house teams to maintain a clean and efficient precinct
About You
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for long shifts
Previous experience in cleaning, labouring, or waste management is practical – but not essential
Reliable, punctual, and ready to take direction
Safety-conscious with robust attention to detail
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
