The Opportunity

DevelopAg is presently recruiting for an experienced Business Support and Finance officer. Reporting directly to the CFO, your role will provide top tier administrative and finance support to ensure the smooth operation of DevelopAg Pty Ltd and subsidiary entities.

The role combines financial processing with broader business support and administrative responsibilities. This combination will allow you to consistently showcase your finely honed organisational and time management skills, enabling you to effectively plan, prioritise and deliver accurate, high quality work outcomes within required timeframes.

Key responsibilities of the role:

* Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and records.
* Maintain company policies, procedures, and OH&S compliance.
* Employee travel coordination and management.
* Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic filing system.
* Process accounts payable/receivable and client invoicing.
* Reconcile company accounts and supplier statements.
* Process payroll, data collation and related reporting.
* Provide general administrative support to management as directed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a dynamic, capable all-rounder who can adapt across a range of responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar administrative or finance support role, with a demonstrated ability to manage business support, administrative and finance tasks. We are seeking a proactive self-starter who possesses a passion and knowledge of the agricultural industry; familiarity with agribusiness/agricultural operations is essential.

Key attributes:

* Tertiary qualification in business, accounting, or finance desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge of agriculture or agribusiness operations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Superior attention to detail with accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point).
* Maintains current computer skills and demonstrates the capacity to adapt to and learn new software and systems as required.
* Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
* Demonstrated and verified ability to work unsupervised in a remote 'Home Office' environment.
* Positive, friendly and approachable individual who can build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Our Offer

Developag is offering a full-time, 'hybrid' remote role; working from project locations will be required from time to time. As this is primarily a remote-working role, applicants must have a demonstrated and verified ability to work independently and unsupervised.
