Manage surgical bookings, lead admissions operations, and drive performance against ESAP targets while optimising theatre utilisation and patient flow.

Remuneration: $44.28 - $58.91 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38

What you'll be doing
In this leadership role, you will oversee the Admissions and Bookings Department, ensuring the efficient coordination of elective surgery bookings and admissions processes while meeting key performance targets.

· Lead and manage bookings and admissions operations for elective surgery

· Coordinate theatre lists to maximise utilisation and efficiency

· Monitor and manage waiting lists to meet ESAP and Triple Zero targets

· Collaborate with surgeons, clinicians and stakeholders to optimise patient flow

· Provide reporting, analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Selection Criteria:

1. Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare administrative environment including surgical bookings and admissions processes.

2. Comprehensive knowledge of NSW Health policies related to elective surgery access, patient registration, privacy and waiting list management.

3. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing administrative and waitlist management systems and processes.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and corporate systems such as HPE, Oracle, HealthRoster and/or the ability to quickly learn new systems.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clinicians, managers and administrative staff.

6. Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume service environment.

7. Demonstrated conflict resolution, analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Ability to lead and support staff while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
