**Job Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in Chullora NSW. At Toll, we connect people to products, the steel industry plays a significant role in shaping the infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. You will contribute to this by: directing, co-ordinating, supervising and achieving service objectives with regard to the local cartage, ensuring that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner with agreed standards in operational procedures including strong emphasis on safety requirements.
If you want to beat the rush hour traffic, or have personal commitments in the afternoon, this role is perfect for you as it operates between 6am - 2.30pm, Monday - Friday. As the Operations Supervisor, you will:
- Organise vehicles and drivers to meet the customer load requirements.
- Monitor driver's to ensure that customer requirements are meet.
- Liase with customer representatives at all levels to ensure that end customer requirements are meet.
- Ensure that all drivers are suitably trained to perform the tasks they are allocated.
- Ensure that all equipment and ancillary equipment is in operating condition.
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years experience in similar operations management or supervisory role
- Experience in Transport and Logistics
- Knowledge of regulations in Transport and Logistics
- Excellent time management, organisation and problem solving skills
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft suite etc)
- Ability to work Autonomously
- CoR awareness
