Access to not-for-profit salary packaging & meals and entertainment benefits (save on tax) Part Time position - Tuesday and Wednesday Make an impact – socially and environmentally – with one of the most loved charities in Australia Healthlink is an Allied Health clinic, funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and is located in the leafy northeastern suburb of Modbury in the City of Tea Tree Gully. Modbury is located at the end of the Adelaide O-Bahn and is home to the Tea Tree Plaza shopping complex and the Modbury Hospital. We are currently seeking a Part Time Physiotherapist to work Tuesday and Wednesday. ABOUT THE ROLE The Physiotherapist is responsible for the provision of quality physiotherapy services to older clients living in the community, in accordance with their individual needs and goals. The Physiotherapist works in a team environment and encourages clients to maximise their physical potential to achieve optimum independence and quality of life. Our clients, aged 65 years and over, are referred to Healthlink through My Aged Care for allied health therapies to assist them to remain living at home and in their community. The physiotherapist provides integral therapies and support to assist these clients to maintain their physical wellbeing and independence. The small, supportive and highly effective Healthlink team comprises physiotherapists, podiatrists, remedial massage therapist, administration and financial officer, and the programme manager. The service operates from Tuesday to Friday. Provide evidence-based physiotherapy services to clients, aged 65 years and over, in a clinic setting in accordance with policy and procedure. Provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and evaluation at an advanced practice level. Develop and deliver exercise programmes, group and individual, for clients in accordance with their goals and capabilities. Document clients’ individualised assessments, goals, and plans, in their care documentation. Promote and support a person-centred culture which values, respects and treats all people as unique individuals with needs and individual goals. Engage in continuing professional development/education. Participate in an annual performance development review. ABOUT YOU Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent studies as assessed by the Australian Physiotherapy Council and approved by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA Demonstrated experience as a physiotherapist in the Aged Care sector Demonstrated highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal An understanding of and commitment to the Aged Care Quality Standards Demonstrated ability to apply quality improvement principles to client and service management Demonstrated well-developed computer skills, particularly in relation to Microsoft Word and Excel NDIS Workers Screening Check BENEFITS Access to generous NFP salary packaging of up to $15,900 (save on tax) Access to meal and entertainment benefits of up to $2,650 through salary packaging Cost effective holiday accommodation at Salvation Army Holiday Houses Access to Fitness Passport Access to exclusive financial, retail and lifestyle discounts and benefits Novated car leasing Learning and development to support you in your role Scholarships via Eva Burrows College Supported study options Employee assistance program Making an impact – socially and environmentally – with one of the most loved charities in Australia To apply for this opportunity, please click on the 'Apply' button below to be taken to our online application process.
