Troocoo is proudly partnered with a values-led, growing manufacturing organisation that offers its customers a variety of top-quality products. We are recruiting a Manufacturing Manager on a full-time, permanent basis, located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, 5 days onsite.
The Position
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee the entire manufacturing process and workforce to ensure that products are manufactured safely, meet specifications, and are available for delivery to customers on time and in full by achieving the agreed-upon KPIs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manage day-to-day operations in the manufacturing plant.
* Continuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, reduce costs, and minimise waste.
* Ensure that all tasks are performed safely and uphold a safe working environment per policies and legislation.
* Develop, lead, and manage staff to ensure maximum performance and productivity.
* Develop and implement production and preventative maintenance schedules.
* Track material usage to keep waste levels within budget limits.
* Manage production plans to ensure resources and processes are utilised to optimise inventory and machinery.
* Monitor and report on manufacturing performance and maintain accurate data in the systems.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a Manufacturing / Production Manager position required.
* Experience in Food, Pharmaceutical, FMCG manufacturing or similar environments.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce.
* Proven experience in applying LEAN manufacturing principles to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce waste in a production environment.
* Strong working knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
* Ability to utilise data-driven approaches to identify and solve process inefficiencies.
* Excellent understanding of safety principles and behaviours.
* Strong change management skills and ability to influence and engage at all levels.
