Overview
Well established educational institution is replacing its Student Information systems over the next 12 months and as such, needs a Data Analyst, where you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and communicating findings to stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
Data collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets
Identify trends and patterns and communicate findings to stakeholders across the business
Collaborate with the Senior Business Analyst and another Data Analyst to support the implementation of improvements for the current system
Contribute to streamlining workflows and enhancing performance across departments
What you will bring
The ability to stand on your own two feet as a Data Specialist. Good interpersonal/teamwork skills and a team playing approach
Able to effectively communicate with others both technically and non-technically to allow thorough scoping of work
Data Migration Expertise: Technical knowledge to manage the migration of large volumes of data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity throughout the process
Data Cleansing and Validation: Skills in preparing and cleansing data for migrations, ensuring the data transferred into any new system is accurate and reliable
Strong skills around ETL, SQL, Python and Data Warehousing
Desirable skills
Microsoft Fabric
APIs for extracting data from systems such as enquiry tracker and toucan tech
Spark Notebooks and spark jobs (preferably python) for ETL of data into medallion structure and for transforming data to fit new SIS structure
PowerBi for report creation
