Talent acquisition is underway for an ICT Procurement Specialist (A07) to lead strategic procurement activities through Queensland Government contracting frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assessing procurement risk as an independent authority;
* Developing strategic sourcing and contracting strategies;
* Reviewing and refining specifications to ensure business requirements are defined;
* Creating tender documentation, including evaluation plans;
* Administering the go-to-market process and ensuring probity requirements are met;
* Negotiating high-value contracts and developing negotiation strategies;
* Maintaining a working knowledge of Queensland Procurement Policy and relevant Conditions of Contract;
Experience across public and private sectors is highly desirable.
This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to represent procurement at board meetings and steering committees.
