Optical Assistant Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join our busy practice in Melbourne.
As an Optical Assistant, you will work closely with our Optometrists and Dispensers to provide exceptional customer service and support the day-to-day operations of the practice.
This is a part-time role, working three days a week, including Monday, Friday, and Saturday. You will be responsible for assisting patients in selecting optical frames tailored to their needs, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and presentation, and providing outstanding customer care.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships with customers, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of dispensing basics, experience with multifocal lenses, interpreting prescriptions, and understanding lens properties. Familiarity with Sunix software is also an advantage.
