Position Overview
Are you a guy interested in leading a monthly discussion group for men? Do you like engaging with ideas and meeting new people? The Tough Guy Book Club is looking for men to host a monthly chapter of our club.
Responsibilities
Your role is to facilitate a healthy, interesting conversation, encouraging new or quiet participants to join and diffusing any over‐talkative or disrespectful behaviour. You will also promote the event and communicate with the coordinating team.
Qualifications
* Reliable
* Good communication habits
* Willingness to engage with new people
* No requirement to be an avid reader or have extensive literary knowledge
Commitment and Expectations
Available on the first Wednesday night of each month from 7 pm for approximately 3–4 hours. Also expected to spend 1–2 hours monthly promoting the event and communicating with the club's coordinating team. Regular commitment for more than 6 months.
Additional Information
Our club is open to all men over the age of 18. No misogynists, homophobes, or racists need apply.
