We are looking for a full time Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
Our warehouse is based in Oakleigh.
We have been operating for 8 years and are experiencing significant growth. We are seeking an experienced warehouse manager who will be comfortable with man management and over-seeing the day to day operations of the warehouse.
The main function of our business is event hire/party hire furniture rental. The key responsibilities for the role include:
The organisation of warehouse
Managing current staff (1 x warehouse storeman, 4 x full-time drivers, 6-8 x casual drivers)
Allocating daily delivery runs
Coordinating with the owner regarding new systems and procedures to improve general operations
Stock management and maintenance
A typical day would involve:
Planning and allocation of deliveries and drivers for 4 Vehicles
Overseeing the preparation of the following days deliveries
Ensuring the trucks are loaded correctly
Checking and logging daily cash sheets
Liaising with the office for last minute changes/ orders
This is a role which will require a self motivated, passionate person of action who operates with a high level of energy.
Salary is paid weekly
Annual leave block-out during December which is our peak season
**Salary**: $80,000.00 per year
