Due to continued growth within our manufacturing department, we are seeking a passionate and quality-driven Powder Coater / Sand Blaster to join our team.
Qualifications & experience
* Previous experience powder coating and sand blasting to a high standard
* Valid QLD LF Forklift license and experience operating the forklift
* Valid QLD driver’s License
* Ability to show initiative and work under pressure
* Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
* Passion for the automotive aftermarket industry
Tasks & responsibilities
* Preparation of jobs including pre-treatment, cleaning, and hanging of jobs
* Able to configure and set up powder guns & equipment
* Loading / unloading of ovens and inspecting and testing of finished products
* Ability to interpret and complete jobs without supervision
* Provide guidance to team members on necessary preparation & optimum hanging processes
* Keeping a clean and tidy work environment
* Work closely with the Warehouse and Manufacturing Manager to meet and exceed the customers' expectations
* Adhere to all PSR’s safety regulations
* Required to wear all the protective equipment supplied
