This is a full-time position based in the western suburbs.ResponsibilitiesMeat selection and preparation for sale and supply by removing bones, trimming fat and cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size orderedSlicing, dicing and portion cuttingSelecting and preparing meat to produce smallgoodsOperating machines such as bandsaw and sausage filling machine, to grind, mix, mince, tenderize meat and making sausagesMaking seasoning and curing special cutsMaintain a clean workspace and adhere to OH&S;, including beginning of day set-up and end of day clean-upQualificationsRelevant qualifications required (AQF Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent)Minimum 12 months relevant work experienceSound cutting skills, for example, ability to cleanly bone all base and cuts down to muscle primal and knowledge of all variety of meat products and stock control proceduresExcellent communication and customer servicePrecision and attention to detailReliable and self-motivatedStrong equipment safety knowledge
