Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual with the following qualifications and experience:
•Experience with sheet metal (Colorbond, light gauge steel)
•Flashing knowledge (advantageous)
•Rollforming knowledge (advantageous)
•Valid Forklift Licence (advantageous)
•Safe sheet handling and lifting techniques
•Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
•Proficient in using hand tools effectively
•Ability to interpret shop drawings (advantageous)
•Great teamwork and communication skills in a tight-knit work environment
Tasks & responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, you will:
•Assisting with operation of Apron Folders, Brake Press, Roll Forming Equipment, Guillotine and/or Slitting Machines
•Ensure data is entered via our QMS system
•Uphold and enhance housekeeping standards
•Exhibit a clear understanding of OH+S requirements and standards
•Strictly follow company policies and procedures
•Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely job completion
