WHAT'S THE FOCUS OF THE POSITION?
This role outworks the day-to-day communication and marketing function at our Cessnock College as well as collaborates on group-wide marketing initiatives with the wider SPCE Comms and Marketing Department in alignment with the SPCE brand.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Graphic Design
* Coordinate and support in the design of promotional and operational collateral using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
* Apply SPCE brand guidelines consistently across all design outputs.
Social Media Management
* Coordinate and schedule organic social media content primarily via Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn.
* Liaise with staff to gather content and ensure timely, engaging communication.
Content Creation
* Write and edit compelling content for print and digital materials, including brochures, newsletters, flyers, and website assets.
* Collaborate with team members to generate creative concepts that support marketing campaigns and entity initiatives.
Event Coordination
* Support the planning and delivery of College events, including open days, community days, fundraising events and student forums.
* Assist with promotional material, logistics, and event communications.
Branding and Compliance
* Monitor and maintain consistent visual and messaging standards across all marketing and communication outputs.
* Support staff and stakeholders in the correct application of brand guidelines.
THE ESSENTIALS YOU'LL NEED:
* Committed Christian who is actively involved in their local evangelical Christian church.
* Demonstrated experience in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
* Experience managing social media channels for a brand or organisation.
* Strong written communication and content development skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in event coordination is desirable.
* A strong eye for design and attention to detail.
