Early Childhood Leadership Role
We are seeking a seasoned early childhood leader to join our team and champion the delivery of high-quality education and care services. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to inspire and grow a team of professional educators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the centre
* Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of children
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including staff training and development plans, centre performance metrics, and quality assurance processes
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines that support the delivery of quality education and care services
* Engage with parents and the broader community to build relationships and promote the centre's services and values
Requirements:
* ACECQA-approved Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
* Current State relevant Working with Children's Check, Police Check + PRODA (or willingness to obtain upon commencement)
* Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain upon commencement)
* Additional Child Protection Training, in line with section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Queensland Government
* Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain upon commencement)
* Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Hands-on experience running a large Centre over 100 places, managing effective rostering and wage control, and guiding a sizable team's performance
* Extraordinary leadership abilities with proven experience engaging, inspiring and growing a team of professional Educators
* Strong knowledge of systems including Humanforce/Timetarget, Storypark, Qikkids, CCMS, Facebook and ISS
