Manage complex ICT projects, leading secure cloud migration, compliance, risk, and efficiency for a major public sector initiative. A key responsibility is to lead the delivery of a secure cloud hosting platform and associated security tools, ensuring the seamless migration of mission-critical applications to the cloud while upholding the highest standards in security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Selection Criteria To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate: Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure platforms, including services such as CloudWatch, EC2, Azure Monitor, Data and SQL Database. Project Management Experience: Over 10 years of extensive project management experience, particularly in technology implementation, cloud migration, and cloud infrastructure projects Methodological Versatility: Proficiency in employing tailored project methodologies such as Agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches. Track Record in Cloud Initiatives: A proven record managing cloud migration, cloud security, and cloud integration projects for at least 4 years. Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and cloud-specific platforms. Agile Credentials: Experience as a Scrum Master or holding a Certification/Professional Scrum Master designation is highly regarded. Sector Experience: Previous exposure to projects within a government or public sector context, with an understanding of cloud governance, compliance, and security requirements Key Accountabilities Solution Deployment: Analyze, evaluate, and deploy technology solutions aligned with business objectives, with a focus on leveraging cloud capabilities. Project Lifecycle Management: Own the full project lifecycle from scoping and planning through execution, risk assessment, activity management Cloud Solutions Delivery: Drive the delivery of high-quality cloud solutions, monitoring project budgets, scopes, schedules, and resources. Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to defined architecture, data standards, and both technical and business requirements, including information security obligations. Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively manage stakeholder needs and expectations while ensuring smooth coordination across teams, client groups, and external vendors. Technical Workshops: Facilitate technical and process design workshops, validating key cloud design options and solution implementations. Vendor Management: Oversee external cloud vendors in alignment with contractual agreements and deliverables, supporting the RFT process as required. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives, including training, to ensure successful adoption and utilization of cloud solutions.
