Experienced Bookkeeper

Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (some flexibility available)
We are a well-established local building company in Townsville seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a practical, hands-on role ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping skills who enjoys working as part of a small, close-knit team.
About the Role
Reporting directly to management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing subcontractor payments
* Managing monthly payments and accounts payable
* Bank reconciliations
* Payroll processing and related reporting
* Managing and reconciling intercompany loans
* General bookkeeping and financial administration tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 3 years experience using MYOB (essential)
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper,
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
* Excellent communication and time management skills
