Description
The Strength and Conditioning Coordinator (Part-time 1 Year Fixed Term Contract) will lead on all matters relating to strength, conditioning and fitness both in developing our aspirational athletes and sports teams as well as instilling a whole school culture of athletic development and fitness by providing programs that promote students' development of their physical and emotional wellbeing.
Ideal Candidate
A comprehensive understanding of the specific fitness and functional movement requirements for a diverse range of sports
Extensive knowledge and experience in athlete development
Experience working with young adolescents in a school setting
Understanding of mentoring, supporting and encouraging students
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Engaging and enthusiastic coaching style with effective communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with various levels of abilities across various age groups
Flexibility and the ability to adapt and operate effectively in a demanding and changing environment
An understanding of WHS responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective training sessions
Appropriate skills and qualifications relating to your chosen sport
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or a willingness to obtain prior to start date)
Current Working with Children clearance (or a willingness to obtain prior to start date)
