Our client is a trusted and reliable provider of products and services in the water management sector servicing all sectors including agricultural, mining, and domestic in the Hunter Valley and North-West regions. Due to growth, we’re currently seeking an experienced Plumbers and Polywelders to join the team which will work amongst their mining clients.
The role:
- Install, assembly, maintenance and repairs on pumps and pipes
- Fabrication of pipes as required
- Completion service report following each job
- Attend pre-starts meetings and tool box talks
- Ensure stock levels are maintained in your vehicle and unused stock returned to the branch
What we’re looking for:
- Current Plumbing licence or Polywelding ticket (essential)
- Experience as a Polywelder, Boilermaker or Plumber
- Understanding of welding and bonding techniques
- Understanding and experience with tools and machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to work accurately to drawings
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong safety focus and the ability to follow policy and procedure
- Ability to pass Coal Board Medical
- Current drivers licence
- Working at Heights ticket
