Frankston, VIC $100,000 - $120,000 / Year FP - Full‐time Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity working for the Orange Door based in Frankston and will be across Bayside Peninsula. The purpose of the position is to create a future where all Victorians can enjoy safe and respectful personal and family relationships, where children grow up in families that value their health, development and wellbeing.

Your Role

  • Deliver screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocate and coordinate referrals.
  • Deliver services and support via phone, within the Orange Door and outreach at client's home or other sites.
  • Collaboratively work with the Orange Door team to support integrated risk assessment and planning, including participating in case conferences, meetings and resolution of stakeholder issues.
  • Carry a level of responsibility for decision making to identify, assess and prioritise risk and needs of women and children, families and perpetrators.
  • Provide support for women, children, young people and families experiencing family violence, perpetrators of family violence and families in need of support with the care, development and wellbeing of children.

Skills & Experience Required

  • A degree qualification in Social Work / Psychology, Community Services or a relevant degree.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and families and/or family violence where there are complex needs and risk issues.
  • Resilience to work with and support clients who have been exposed to trauma.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess and prioritise risks and needs of clients in a whole‐of‐family approach.
