Client Service Officer
Contract Length – Start ASAP to 19/08/2025
Rate: $43.28 per hour + Super (35 hours per week)
Location: Parramatta – 5 days in office
About the role:
The Client Service Officer (CSO) is part of a team responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent, and timely administration services to clients. The CSO supports and oversees Personal Finance Managers who manage the financial and legal affairs of their clients.
This includes:
* Helping them understand their legal authority and obligations.
* Providing information and advice on their role, financial decision-making, record keeping, and reporting.
* Reviewing proposed decisions by Finance Managers to ensure they are in the best interest of the clients.
The CSO independently manages a caseload and knows when to escalate matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Initiate Contact : Reach out to newly appointed Finance Managers, providing them with necessary information and support.
* Record Keeping : Establish and securely store records for each privately managed customer.
* Action Plan Development : Help Managers create action plans addressing immediate, medium, and long-term financial needs of their customers.
* Database Maintenance : Maintain customer databases and generate regular reports to identify trends, system issues, and areas for service improvement.
* Active Listening : Listen to concerns and enquiries from Managers, customers, and stakeholders, and work to resolve issues.
* Escalation : Escalate complex matters and substantial complaints to senior officers as needed.
The successful candidate:
* Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
* Experience in dealing with a diverse range of clients, professionals, staff, and community members
* Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Experience in case management would be ideally in legal, financial or community organisations, however this is not essential.
