About National Trust Queensland & Currumbin Wildlife Hospital

Since its creation in 1989, Currumbin Wildlife Hospital has grown to be one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world, now treating over 16,000 animals every year. In addition, the hospital provides veterinary care to the Sanctuary captive animal collection and conducts world-leading research and conservation projects, often working collaboratively with esteemed education and government partners.

The hospital is located within the grounds of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, one of 14 properties managed by National Trust of Australia Queensland (NTAQ). NTAQ is a membership-based environmental organisation and registered charity that works to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations.

To support the Wildlife Hospital operations, we have opportunity for a Permanent Full Time or Part Time Veterinarian, to join our highly respected Wildlife Hospital Team that comprises a team of 11 veterinarians, 29 vet nurses, a Lab Technician and a dedicated Research Team.
