As a permanent Cleaner / Housekeeper within the Pilgangoora Operations, you'll be supporting a reputable mining and minerals organisation in the Pilbara.
You'll support delivery of essential on-site services including village management, catering, cleaning and utilities, helping create a safe, welcoming home away from home for remote workers.
Located 140km south of Port Hedland, this role goes beyond operations. It's about building care, consistency and community on site.

Key responsibilities
The Cleaner / Housekeepers are primarily responsible for the accommodation cleaning and general upkeep of <1000 Resident Rooms with Ensuites and living areas within the Village, including ablutions. Assistance with Village laundry duties (linen, toweling), such as sorting and storage. Furthermore, those items and areas are kept clean, orderly, and always maintained to the highest standards. Ad hoc support for the other Sites is occasionally required.
Duties include:
* Ensure that the designated work, service and living areas are held to a high standard of cleanliness
* Follow Cleaning Policies and Procedures
* Achieve completion targets within allocated timeframes, respond to timely ad-hoc cleaning requests
* Housekeeping of Residents rooms within the Village environment as per schedule; stripping and making beds, removing and replacing linen/towels, cleaning ensuites and areas of high use, restocking consumables and all Village ablutions.
* Assisting with laundry duties, including the folding, sorting and storage of all Village linen and toweling.
* Appropriate storage and use of Chemicals
* Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials/consumables levels, assist with EOM stock take audits
* Notifying the Supervisor of any maintenance requests/issues required within the Village/Site
* Assist other departments from time to time, if required.
The incumbent is a key person to the Village Management Team and is involved in promoting positive staff morale and a safe work environment, ensuring quality systems, and supporting business and client focus within the PFM business and across the company.
About You

To join our Cleaning team, you possess previous accommodation cleaning experience and be highly organized, possessing strong time and priority management skills. You will maintain cleaning standards across the Team and be comfortable working amongst Resident environments, demonstrating professional customer service. You will have a commitment to the hygiene and safety of yourself and others, and an overall passion to provide quality work and service with a smile, at all times.
You will possess:
* Australian Working Rights
* VALID Australian C Class Driver's License
* Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
* Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
* Previous cleaning experience
* Previous strip and seal experience (desirable)
* First Aid and CPR Certification (desirable)
* Previous experience leading Staff and working in a similar role at a Village
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
* Advanced Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Payroll & Training requirements
* Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills
* Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
* Ability to manage a Team; providing hands on coaching and support where required
* Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment
